EAGEN Insurance, together with EAGEN Land and EAGEN Investments, are the  three operating divisions of The East Africa General Insurance Company Limited, established in May 1949 as the first general Insurer In Uganda. 

EAGEN Insurance has grown to become the strongest and safest Insurer operating in the Uganda market, with a paid up capital in excess of UGX Two Billion. 

EAGEN is fully licenced to conduct general insurance business in Uganda, by the Uganda Insurance Commission, and is an active participating member of the Uganda Insurance Association.
